EIM Trade offers Bulgarian-made cycle controlled lathes with manually controlled spindle. These lathes are meant to bridge the wide gap between full CNC and full manual lathes. Also known as semi-CNC and hybrid lathes, the cycle controlled lathes are a cost-effective solution when complexity and high level of automation are sought after together with a varying degree of manual control. Being considerably cheaper than full CNC, the cycle controlled lathes have similar levels of automation which accounts for their high cost-effectiveness. They have a distinct advantage when a more hands-on approach is needed in processing smaller batches which significantly augments their versatility in production. The CNC systems employed in the cycle controlled lathes offered by EIM-Trade are Fanuc 0i Mate T, Fagor 8055 TC, Siemens 802d sl – any of which can be custom-ordered by client's request.

The lathes are manufactured in Bulgaria by ZMM Sliven – one of the world's largest lathe exporters with clients in more than 40 countries since 1971, currently a part of ZMM Bulgaria Holding industrial conglomerate.

The Bulgarian-made cycle controlled lathes have been CE manufactured and conform to the ISO 9001, UKAS 005 and TUV quality certification systems. They come in a wide variety of sizes which range from 72 to 318 mm for the spindle bore and distance between centers of 885 to 6000 mm. The cycle controlled lathes are produced by ZMM Sliven with high quality parts through a partnership with leading brands like SKF, FAG, Yamazaki Mazak Corp. and Bison – Bial.

The cycle controlled lathes offered by EIM-Trade can be custom-ordered with a host of various accessories (chucks, steady rests, centers, etc.) which ensure that the particular needs of a wide range of customers will be met. They are delivered with clearly labeled parts and instruction manuals which allow a quick and easy assembly.
